What if you could wrap a Xmas present from your couch?

Wrapping smiles; a NETFLIX xmas digital campaign with a strategy

‣The Briefing: Create a campaign for Netflix to convince new Urban Millennials to sign up in the UK.

Do you remember the love story between Richard and Julia in Pretty Woman? Then, take that feeling and bring it to the current time using Netflix characters to trigger the same emotion among Millennials.

The strategy of the campaign was to create a connection between the Netflix users and the characters of their favourite series. The campaign triggered a positive emotion into these users. The result was that this Christmas, Netflix users will “wrap” a Christmas present for someone they love, like or admire, without moving from the couch.

‣Campaign channels: Netflix platforms, Social Media, Influencers, Emailing, web Ads & offline.

‣Benefits: “The Xmas edition” allowed users to select how many months in advance they wanted to buy the Xmas present subscription. This new feature had a positive impact on Netflix on ahead earnings.
